WORKSHOPS

Finding your way through the liminal space and beyond™ is a self-reflective and personal growth workshop series held in healing and collective circles. It is my hope that in the presence with others you will feel solace and support as you weave threads of healing through gatherings. In our circles we work on deepening connections, building community, and enriching experiences.

A Healing Journey For The Wounded Inner Child

The relationship with ourselves is our primary connection and it is crucial to our emotional well-being.

Childhood struggles, trauma, and difficulties that overwhelm our nervous system result in coping mechanisms that serve to protect us at the unbearable time in our life.

Sometimes, those protective parts remain ‘loud and proud’ into our adult years causing ruptures to relationships. Does this sound and feel familiar? Is this something you are experiencing? Are you aware of the parts of you that repeatedly and innocently sabotage meaningful connections? Most people are not, instead we just think something is ‘not right’ or ‘off,’ or we blame the other.

Our inner child unconsciously remains stuck, stunted in its growth, and unable to mature. As a result we become lost in a dark, murky, liminal space and that ‘stuckness’ become our wound. Awareness of our wounds and our protectors is the first step towards the process of foraging a path towards a healthy functioning relationship.

Healing the Wounded Inner Child is for me because…

  • I want change and I want to change.

  • I find myself outgrowing relationships that no longer serve my higher good.

  • I am ready to pivot the trajectory of my awareness from victim to flourishing.

  • I am moving towards personal growth, self-awareness, and self-actualization

  • I desire transformation.

  • I recognize an internal shift within but don’t understand what is happening.

  • I am courageous to do the hard work of looking inward, becoming aware,

& feeling the discomfort of the growing pains.

  • I am ready to hone in on my skills of self-curiosity, self-reflection & journaling.

  • I am willing to do the hard work

“My workshops offer you the opportunity to explore,
understand and create a healthy relationship with yourself
through self-reflection, self-compassion, and grace.”

- Workshop facilitator Janet Fournier

The relationship I have with my inner child is two fold; she is an incredible teacher and she has this uncanny knack of surfacing at the most inopportune times. The fact that “little Janet” continues to be so loud and proud, even though I am a grown woman is a testament to the cesspool of unresolved emotions easily triggered and the inner work that is ever evolving. My ‘little’ has many great qualities -I admire her tenacity, tenderness, innocence, resilience and grit. The work, however, is learning how to courageously journey, in a healthy way, with my little self throughout my adult life. Having developed an awareness and relationship with my own wounded inner child, I feel drawn to guide and equip others to do the same.

Wanting to explore your wounded inner child can leave you at a loss of where to begin? The desire to become aware and understand old, unresolved emotions can leave you feeling scared and yearning for professional direction? That is why I created the in-person Wounded Inner Child Workshop - to gently and safely guide you towards re-connecting and creating a healthy relationship with your past ‘little’ via various psychotherapeutic and somatic modalities. Together, in this tender, beautiful and unique 12-hour workshop you will learn, share, hold space, relate, cry and laugh in community. You will walk away feeling light, free, and more empowered.

If you have read up to this point, thank you - I know we are aligned to walk this path less travelled, together. Click below.

What is the Wounded Inner Child?

The Wounded Inner Child is our earliest, purest, most authentic self who innocently consciously and unconsciously carries the burdens of past hurts. Left unresolved, this pain has the potential to negatively impact our current emotional landscape and ultimately our current adult relationship with self and others.

The Wounded Inner Child looks like…

√ Perfectionism

√ Overly Conforming

√ Controlling

√ Repeatedly Dysfunctional Relationship Patterns from past relationships

√ Envy

√ Criticism

√ Passive Aggression

√Pretending …

√ Wearing an Emotional Mask

√ Co-dependency (loss of identity)

√ Trust Issues

√ Thought Distortion

√ Emptiness

“I hope you will consider to join me in this first of a series of personal growth workshops. May you foster new connections, reflect and grow, as we journey on this hopeful and innovative dive into the wounded inner child.”
